According to the foundation, “This elite seven-month program is designed to provide high school students from the Eastern Shore with the opportunity to gain a greater knowledge of their community, develop strong leadership skills, and enhance self and social awareness.”

 

The program covers a wide range of topics including law and government, business knowledge, health and human services, environment, and tourism.
