Bayside Students Win Top Awards in Virtual Art Competition of Alabama
Bayside Academy is pleased to announce our winners in this year’s Virtual Art Competition of Alabama, a juried online art competition sponsored by the Alabama Art Educators Association (AAEA).
This competition is open to all students in Grades K–12 in public or private schools in the state of Alabama. This year, 75 teachers from 52 different schools submitted 216 pieces of art. Featured work mediums range from multimedia sculpture to painting, scratchboard, photography, digital art, and more. From the 200-plus entries, only 25 are selected for awards.
Bayside Academy ranked among top winners for the 2025 state competition with three overall winners. Winners will receive a certificate and a letter from the AAEA president and will represent the state of Alabama at the 2025 National Art Educators Association conference in Louisville, Kentucky, from March 20–25, as well as have their work displayed on the AAEA website.
