42 Students Inducted into NHS

On Monday, March 24, Bayside Academy inducted 42 students into the Patsy T. Phillips chapter of the National Honor Society (NHS).
Congratulations to the following inductees: Camille Barrois, Ava Blackwell, Noah Breeland, Grayson Bullington, Noah Cain, Addie Carter, Marcella Covington, Case Cramton, Mary Katherine Crowell, Isabelle Daniell, Shelby Fargason, Reed Fugard, Anne Patton Gaillard, Jackson Goffinet, Brody Gwaltney, Lynnen Hackney, Molly Hagan, Kathryn Hamilton, Colt Hancock, Nathan Ivan, Claire Jones, Ben Klecker, Wells Lambert, Tristin Malone, Sara Sahlie Marcato, Mary Burton Merchant, Virginia Merchant, Matthew Peterson, Parker Pittman, Presley Putnam, Forrest Smith, Garrek Snell, Evan Stafford, Grady Stokes, Annie Taul, Miller Terry, Major Thompson, Marley Ullock, Julia Watkins, Sophie Weller, Mary Katherine Whitehurst, and Mattie Will.
 
The Patsy T. Phillips chapter of the NHS is an organization whose objectives are to create an enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote worthy leadership, and to encourage the development of character in all students of Bayside Academy. In order to be considered for membership, a student must have obtained the status of junior or senior and have an overall minimum weighted GPA of 3.75 or higher. Once inducted, members of NHS are expected to continue developing the qualities of scholarship, service, leadership, and character.
