Students Excel on AP Exams

In addition, 59% of the scores were either a 4 or 5. This past year, 38% of freshmen, 40% of sophomores, 67% of juniors, and 63% of seniors at Bayside took at least one AP class. While the 2023–24 AP School Honor Roll won’t be announced until October, Bayside Academy was a Gold Honor Roll recipient last year, awarded to only 4% of all eligible schools in Alabama. We are exceedingly proud of our students and faculty!

 

Additionally, 59 Bayside Academy students qualified for AP Scholar Awards. The title of AP Scholar is granted to students who receive scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP Exams; the title of AP Scholar with Honor is granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams; and the title of AP Scholar with Distinction is granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams.
